aka: the "Rose Lady"

Two main life-long passions of my life are needle arts and gardening.  Among my earliest memories I have is a needle in my hand working on days-of -the-week cotton dish towels,
the old-fashioned preprinted variety. 

As years passed, many moves, careers changes and other creative interests   came and went, but a needle was always in
my hand and needlework always handy .

If the weather is nice (or not) and the ground
isn't frozen, I head to the garden.The feel
and smell of soil feeds my soul.  But when
I pick up needlework, any tension eases
from my body, my blood pressure lowers,
and my mind is freed to dream.
