Emmeline Pankhurst
1858-1928

This doll was inspired by Emmeline Pankhurst, a famous English suffragette. She was an activist and often chained herself to Parliment doors and to posts in front of men's club. I made this doll for myself and she is my very favorite. Again the ornate beading on her outfit does not show up. 18" http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/WpankhurstE.htm

Self portrait....about 15"
Frank Lee Trustworty...unfinished.  I started him for my poker playing son.  Frank has 5 aces in his hand and one up his sleeve and another in his cuff. Head is paperclay and  seated height is about 10".

The queen's head is cloth-over-paperclay and the jester's head is paperclay.  Their bodies are cloth.  The queen's breast piece is solid beading and all her lace is heavily beaded.  Unfortunately this does not show up in the photos.   Her seated height is about 10".
